Cliff Kaiser is a co-founder and IT consultant of the Strategic IT Group - established in November 1999 to serve the information technology needs of businesses in San Diego.

Prior to starting his consulting practice, Cliff was manager of Information Systems at Captiva Software, a San Diego-based software development company with offices throughout the United States and Europe. He built and managed the local and wide-area network and telecommunications infrastructure for the rapidly growing company. Captiva develops software serving the data capture and image management market.

In 2012, Cliff retired as a Captain in the Naval Reserves after 31 years of service. His served 12 years of active duty as a nuclear engineer with the U.S. Navy Submarine Force. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from the Ohio Institute of Technology and has had extensive education in information technology and project management.
